ELLIS BROS - An Operational Brief


ELLIS BROS is a niche sharebroking firm that specialises in private client advisory services. It offers a full range of investment services, with specialist expertise in New Zealand and Australian shares, and local fixed-interest securities.


Non-clients of ELLIS BROS can be added to the Email Client-Communication (ECC) circulation list at their request. This is a free service.


Share purchases must be settled within three business days. Copies of contract notes can be emailed to client on the same day of purchase/sale to help facilitate prompt settlement. Proceeds of share/bond sales, similarly, are paid 3 days after the transaction date. Payment can be more prompt if clients provide ELLIS BROS with bank account details (and enable the direct credit of cleared funds).



Clients also have the option of operating a Registered-Bank call account in tandem with their share-trading account to simplify the flow of funds.
